Dull. That she is not.
Not in any sense of the word.
Bright, cheerful, intelligent.
In this land, none can compare.
Beautiful, feminine.
There is an aura about her,
Magic, some might say.
She is full of energy,
Full of life, full of being.
Stubborn or strong-willed,
Take your pick.
The words don't change
Who she is.
Her, I will defend
In the face of adversity.
Protector, if she needs,
But never against her will.
Speaking with her is pleasant.
A beautiful voice
To match a beautiful face.
'Tis not an easy thing
To care for someone
At the risk of great pain.
'Tis not easy to love
But not have it returned.
'Tis not easy,
But quite worth the effort.

In one of the ones I participated in, someone would periodically post a list of words with the challenge to write a poem using those words. As far as I can remember, it was fairly free as to what format these poems could take. This particular poem was written about a young lady that I had an interest in at the time, but sums up my ideal lady fairly well. The words: dull land magic energy defend speaking
